Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and AltShft (“we” or “us”), based in Ontario, Canada. AltShft operates ZzaL. These terms apply to the ZzaL iOS app, keyboard extension, website and related account services.

1. Using ZzaL

You may use ZzaL only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. Do not interfere with the service, bypass usage limits or security controls, automate abusive requests, or use content in a way that infringes another person's rights.

Subject to these terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the ZzaL app, keyboard and website for their intended purpose. This is permission to use ZzaL, not a transfer of ownership. AltShft and its licensors retain their rights in the ZzaL software, design, text and branding, excluding KLIPY content and other third-party materials. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or create derivative works from ZzaL except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

2. KLIPY content

ZzaL lets you search for and share GIFs and stickers supplied by KLIPY. ZzaL is independent of KLIPY, is not a KLIPY product, and is not endorsed by KLIPY. KLIPY content, trademarks and related rights remain with KLIPY and the applicable content owners. Availability can change, and you must respect the rights and restrictions that apply to content you share.

3. Current release boundaries

ZzaL does not currently offer user uploads or paid subscriptions in the public iOS release. Locally saved Favorites and Recents are conveniences, not a promise that provider content will remain available. If uploads, subscriptions or other materially different services launch later, we will provide updated terms and any required notices before they apply.

The initial launch promotion is a one-time free benefit, not a paid subscription. Eligibility is determined using Apple's signed AppTransaction proof and ZzaL's server records. To prevent the same benefit from being claimed again after a reinstall, account deletion or a new account, ZzaL may retain a pseudonymous acquisition marker and claim timing after account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. After promotional access ends, free use may be subject to daily tickets, with an optional rewarded-ad refill when available.

4. Accounts and deletion

An account is optional for features that do not require sign-in. You may stop using ZzaL at any time. You can request account deletion in the app or on the account deletion page. Deletion ends current sessions and removes personal account linkage through the deletion process; when available, ZzaL also asks Apple to revoke Sign in with Apple access. We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, misuse, or service protection.

5. Feedback and support

If you voluntarily send feedback, you allow us to use it without payment to improve ZzaL, but you keep ownership of your original ideas and materials. For help, contact support@zzal.app or visit Support.

6. Service availability and changes

We work to keep ZzaL available, but the service may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued, including when a provider changes its API or content. We may update these terms for legal, security, provider, or product reasons. We will post the revised terms and effective date here and provide additional notice when required by law.

7. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZzaL is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that every search result is accurate or suitable, or that third-party content will remain available. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZzaL and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Any liability that cannot be excluded remains limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Governing law and general terms

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Courts located in Ontario have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law in your home jurisdiction gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere or provides additional protections.

These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of ZzaL, except for any separate terms presented for a specific feature or required by the App Store. If any provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
